Mechanical Design of Meat Master

Bottom Enclosure

Designed in SolidWorks to efficiently house the components of Meat Master. Snap fit features for the lid.

DFM:

Basic construction that would be easy to injection mold. For my prototype, I used 3d Printing using PLA.

Lid Assembly

Designed in SolidWorks to snap fit the speaker in the lid. Additionally, designed to snap fit onto the bottom enclosure.

DFM:

Basic designed that could be injection molded. Used 3D printing using PLA to design prototype.

Thermocouple Assembly

Designed in SolidWorks to house the thermocouple amplifier and screw onto the Bottom Enclosure.

DFM:

Basic designed that could be injection molded. Used 3D printing using PLA to design prototype.

DFA:

Thermocouple mount screws into the bottom enclosure. This was added so that plugging in the cables for the operational amplifier (op amp) would be easy. Additionally, the thermocouple could be assembled in parallel along with the lid and the bottom enclosure.
